Any major defects should be noted anyway
To be honest I don't really expect to always find Mint or near mint copies of most early punk stuff, Does it really matter to much anyway??? I want to play my records not put them in a glass case......saying that if we are doing a trade please tell me about any flaws before hand, theirs nothing worse then trying to upgrade a record you already have only to get something worse.
I will undo a sale / trade if MY grade was wrong, not all this stuff has necessarily been play graded but will be if there visible problems or before I send something out.
A VG++ Grade is a nice copy that any collector who is not a pain in the arse will be happy with, most people are grading these same records as EX+ if your using the Record Collector guide
Most abbreviations will probably self explanatory if not listed hear. SS = sticker stain ST = sticker tear
WOC = writing on Cover WOL = writing on label # = Limited Edition   #d = Numbered PS = Picture Sleeve
Picture Sleeve (PS) ~ Grades should always be Sleeve First.
M = Flat, uncreased, like new.
M- = Small creases, rumpling...etc typical of old sleeves, no folds or tears...etc
VG++ = One defect - small stain, slight ring wear, thin white lines from folds which breaks the surface, small tears around sides...etc
VG+ = More than one vg++ defect, defects more visable
VG = Bad rings, tears, stains...etc
Record ~ Most records graded visually This means i have looked at the record and made a grade.defect`s can be PLAY GRADED before I mail anything.
M = As new, no marks.
M- = No real abuse
VG++ = Still plays as new but has one of following, scuffs, dust wear, non deep scratches...No serious marks
VG+ = Obviously played a bit,vg++ more obvious, unobtrusive noise...etc.
VG = Worse, probably sounds like eggs & beacon frying in-between songs......

Trading Records Ok if we trade records you have to send your package to me first. There are a few reasons for this.....and I don't want to sound like a twat but I have my reasons.

1) These days I don't write to people and ask them to trade with me....well not very often (of course if I have introduced myself to you than its different) because I don't have enough spare time to think about trades. Most of the time whoever im trading with will have initiated the trade, so if your someone I don't already no don't ask to trade if your going to expect me to send first. I can give you many names of people all over the world who you might have traded with or be in contact with, im sure they will more than likely tell you im no ripoff.

2) If your sending cash for a record you send that first.

3) Its not that I don't trust people but I have been ripped off now by 2 people who have wrote to me telling me they either have items on my want list or good things. They had no intention of sending them to me....if they even had them in the first place. This isnt going to happen again.....both were very costly mistakes on my side.

4) Im not going to spend hours building a web site about punk records if im in the business of burning people.

Of course if your someone I know (personally or know of) ill send my package first, or someone who shares a mutual good friend.

These people I am waiting to here from [GET IN TOUCH PLEASE]:
James Knight (San Diego, Ca)...wheres my records?
Wiliam Shively (Richmond Virginia) "monty cleese" <flyingcircus13@....> ....records please?
Andrew Healey (Essex) ....any chance of the refund check for the Chaotic Discord EP please?

Buying Record
I still like the idea of trading but due to not have the spare time to think about fair trades (lets face it...trading is a pain in the arse..) id rather just sell the records I have either a spare copy of or no longer find interesting. Thinking about trades and all the back and forth is takes me to long but I do still welcome any trade lists or offers of trades for any record im looking for or could use for my list.

All prices wont be set firm so please still feel free to make some reasonable offers, but more than likely the price stated is what I want. Note prices may change at anytime, up or down, and if a price is followed by "Or Best Offer" it means ill take less if don't take the piss.

VERY IMPORTANT:-
Remember asking for a record to be reserved and asking if a record would still be available are very much different things. Its ok to ask if I still have a record but then don't buy it but to CONFIRM you want something and don't make contact again sucks. Make sure it is understood what is being asked. To many people ask for records to be reserved, confirm they want them then don't buy them. This really sucks if I (or anyone else) holds something aside for somebody who never sends payment for it. I think I should print email address and names of those who do this for all to see on this page.

Deadbeats so far:
brian mangum <brianhome@......com>....not from this site but an auction.
<nasanyc@...........com>
Katheleen L Francis (ssfart) from Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA. <xwbxhcx@....> total deadbeat time waster.

Postage Rates
Tell me if you want something and ill tell you the cost post paid ok. No charge is made for handling or shipping materials.

To Registered / Record mail from the UK is £3.15, about $5 on top of the shipping cost. This is strongly recommended on valuable packages as like always im not responsible for the Post Office making mistakes but I will do my best to trace any lost packages should the unthinkable happen (so far in 11 years of doing this no package I 've sent or received has gone astray)

How To Pay
Please send cash, preferably registered mail. Im not responsible for lost mail but over the last 10 years I 've spent doing this kind of thing nothing sent to me has gone missing. Strange how cash I send out myself sometimes doesn't arrive (so I get told...) usually by those sellers who auction stuff on one particular site, you know what I mean....
Because the UK and most of the rest of the world is part of the "Universal Postal Union" stuff sent registered is really well handled and tracked all the way through the system. Should be no problems with registered mail.

Cash in some currency`s might be ok depending which ones. ONLY In the UK a cheque is fine.
I can take a postal money order but it has to be made out in UK sterling/pounds and should be from the post office. Commonwealth countries shouldn't have a problem getting these, ask at your local PO. They might not be any cheaper for you than cash registered. I now have an account with PayPal if that is any use to anyone, so I can take CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS.

If your in the US best way might be to use a "Flat Rate Envelope" (Flat Grey thing which cant be seen into) Global Priority Mail, they only cost $5. Money orders in US currency cant be cashed in the UK and a IMO made out into English Sterling costs quite a bit of money for you to make out unfortunately, they also take 6 weeks and to be honest don't seem worth bothering with. Feel free to for ask any info on this side of things. By the way I have a list of most of the people I 've sold and traded with in the past, if you want to check some names that fine by me.

Soon as payment arrives ill mail you and tell you please send your address by Email first so I can have the package ready to go straight back out to you. It`s also a good idea to print out emails with the details on so im sure what the letter is about...etc and please write neatly as im no good at reading!

Packing
I have a big problem with people who don't take the time to package records in a decent way, rest assured anything I send out will be well taken care of.

Please when you send record through the post make sure they are packaged properly (Especially if there being sent to me!!!)
Always package stuff the same way you would like to receive it.

Vinyl:
Vinyl outside of the PS in a plain white inner sleeve, this will avoid Seem Split`s.
Cardboard:
Put the record and sleeve inside a plastic sleeve and inside rigid card layers. Make sure though you use at least one decent layer of card each side and if you see the way the card has grooves running along it they have to cross each other so it runs top to bottom one side of the record and side to side on the other, at least one on layer each side of the record.
Try to use a mailer designed specifically for mailing records if you have one, ask at your local record shop they often have some waiting to got out with the rubbish. If you don't have one it is easy enough to make one. Remember those padded envelopes offer no protection at all unless there made rigid with card. don't skimp on the card thinking you will save money at the post office, for a extra few grams it will probably cost less than a newspaper.
Customs:
Never put a high value on the Customs I don't no about your country but in the UK we get annoying charges for packets valued higher than $15-$20 bucks...
